About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead and transform its product development and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strategic departmental priorities, mentoring engineering staff, and building a culture of operational discipline and accountability. This role goes beyond traditional project oversight, as the VP of Engineering will be the driving force behind the department's modernized mission, working closely with senior executive leadership to lead R&D efforts, optimize manufacturing capabilities, and mentor the next generation of technical talent. Daily responsibilities include accelerating R&D and product innovation, standardizing engineering processes, guiding advanced technical integration, and driving cross-functional alignment to enhance product manufacturability and customer satisfaction. Candidates for this executive position should have a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams within a custom machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing environment. Core technical competencies in mechanical engineering, fluid power systems, and automated controls are essential. The role requires a hands-on leadership style, with a focus on strategic sourcing and manufacturing aptitude. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly preferred, and specialized industry exposure in related manufacturing sectors is a distinct advantage.
