Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining professional interaction with clients and team members. With structured work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., therapists can ensure a healthy work-life balance while managing their caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring individualized care plans are developed.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored treatment strategies, incorporating their preferences, needs, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, addressing all aspects of the client’s health.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to refine and enhance treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to further your expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and other related mental health challenges. The therapist will work with a diverse group of individuals, including adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention and culturally informed support.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
