Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Alexandria facility, you will work onsite in a fully equipped rehabilitation setting designed to meet the diverse needs of our patient population. The facility is designed for efficient workflows to ensure both patient comfort and the effective delivery of care services. Your schedule will follow a typical work week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing you with the work-life balance necessary to thrive both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories and performing assessments to accurately determine the physical therapy needs of each patient.

• Develop and communicate personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient and family involvement in the goal-setting process.

• Implement treatment protocols tailored to the patient's evaluation findings and adapt plans as necessary based on patient progress and healthcare advancements.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing and documenting changes in patients' conditions that may require a reevaluation of care plans or referrals for further medical consultation.

• Oversee discharge planning and ensure follow-up care is consistent, well-documented, and aligned with best practices, including clear evaluation and progress reports.

• Effectively manage your time to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an accurate schedule of patient appointments and administrative duties.

• Engage in ongoing department goal achievement and adhere to applicable regulations, contributing to our commitment to excellence in patient care.

• Enhance patient access to care and the overall experience by actively participating in initiatives that foster timely and effective service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve using evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans that cater to their specific rehabilitation needs. By employing a compassionate and patient-centered approach, you will help facilitate their journey to recovery and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid physical therapy license, as required by Virginia state laws.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association for healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within a rehabilitative or outpatient clinical setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
