Gentle Motion Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. Work Environment

This position will primarily operate in a home care environment, providing therapeutic services in the homes of our patients. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enjoying a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by synthesizing patient history and performing targeted assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families to establish realistic goals for therapy.

• Implement effective treatment protocols while adapting to patient conditions and progress, utilizing best practices that reflect current healthcare standards.

• Engage with fellow healthcare professionals for collaborative care, recognizing when to modify treatment plans in response to changes in patient health.

• Ensure thorough documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment protocols, progress notes, and discharge planning, demonstrating meaningful patient outcomes.

• Maintain productivity standards and an organized schedule while effectively managing time to enhance patient access to care.

• Contribute to departmental goals and initiatives by adhering to regulations, participating in community outreach, and promoting an exceptional patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, patients with chronic pain disorders, and post-acute rehabilitation patients. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journey by helping restore mobility and independence, improving not just their physical capabilities but also their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current physical therapy license appropriate for practice in Virginia.

• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in home care or outpatient settings. Experience with evidence-based practice and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
