Work Environment

As part of our onsite outpatient clinic in Alexandria, VA, you will be immersed in a cooperative and energetic atmosphere. Our facility is designed to facilitate optimal patient outcomes with state-of-the-art equipment and resources. You will work trending shifts from Monday to Friday, maintaining a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve patients' physical functioning, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure cohesive care and optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously to comply with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, fostering a welcoming environment that encourages feedback and engagement from patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.
• Current CPR certification is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
