Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including gathering medical histories and performing detailed assessments to determine individual rehabilitation needs.
• Communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively set treatment goals with patients and their families, ensuring alignment with their expectations and understanding.
• Implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results and adjust protocols as necessary to meet patients' evolving health needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, effectively recognizing changes in conditions that may require revisions to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and follow-up care plans, while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Manage caseloads efficiently and meet productivity benchmarks, maintaining punctuality for meetings and patient appointments.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, participating in training programs, and serving as a mentor for students or new hires.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical rotations may also be considered.
