Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to understand client challenges and devising personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Facilitating online psychoeducational workshops and support groups to create a sense of community and belonging among clients facing similar challenges.
\n
• Engaging in collaborative care by regularly communicating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to enhance patient outcomes.

• Providing crisis intervention services, including immediate support during critical moments of distress.
\n
• Educating clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and external resources to assist in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participating in professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations to refine therapeutic skills and share best practices.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective individualized treatment strategies.

• Proficient communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients, families, and team members.

• A sound ethical framework to navigate patient interactions and uphold professional boundaries.

• Proficiency using electronic health records and telehealth platforms to document sessions and maintain client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:
