ABOUT OUR AGENCY:

I opened my agency in 2017, and currently lead a close-knit team of three. I've spent 13 years in the insurance industry, but my career actually began as a high school English teacher. After making the transition into insurance, I started as a State Farm team member where I worked for an agent for three years before moving to Tyler and opening an agency of my own. Outside of work, I'm blessed with my wonderful wife, Sarah, and our three children, Lela, Ben, and Miles. We love spending time together playing sports, enjoying games, and exploring local events and restaurants around Tyler.

Being involved in the Tyler community is something I'm incredibly passionate about. I currently serve as president of the Tyler Referral Network, where I enjoy connecting with and promoting local businesses and business owners. I've also volunteered with Meals on Wheels for the past eight years and am proud to support organizations like PAVE East Texas, Therapet, and Carter BloodCare. Giving back and building meaningful relationships throughout our community are important parts of who I am.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Taylor Berumen - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers' success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
