Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, modifying care plans as necessary based on patient progress.

• Referring patients to external resources, treatments, support groups, and additional mental health providers to optimize their therapeutic journey.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care for all patients.

• Adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local clinical standards in alignment with the Mental Health Practice Act.
\n
• Organizing and prioritizing daily patient management tasks, including assessing needs for new, current, and discharging clients.

• Providing social work consultations and conducting psychosocial assessments, alongside delivering crisis intervention and supportive services, as required.

• Educating and coordinating care with various patient care teams and external agencies to ensure quality care delivery.

• Identifying patients at risk of avoidable delays or readmission and strategizing optimal solutions with care providers.

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Virginia as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Familiarity with community mental health resources and local support services.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
