About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our physician-owned, democratic group at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa . This position offers a stable, rewarding practice environment with a clear partnership track , strong physician leadership, and the ability to work in a hospital committed to high-quality emergency care.

Highlights:

• 45,000 annual patient visits
• 42 hours of daily physician coverage
• 35+ hours of daily Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation
• 24-hour CT, ultrasound, and MRI availability
• Level III Trauma Facility
• Accredited Stroke and Cardiac Center
• On-site ED-based pharmacist, social worker, respiratory therapist, and case manager

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Iowa medical license
