Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, you will be tasked with: \n \n Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs. \n Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health challenges faced by clients. \n Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). \n Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n Engaging in professional development activities, including attending workshops and conferences to stay current with progressive mental health practices. \n Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will include working with individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our clients often face barriers to care, making your role essential in providing them with the support and tools necessary for their recovery. Qualifications\n The ideal candidate will possess the following: \n \n A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. \n An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in New York State. \n At least two years of experience in a counseling or clinical setting. \n A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to clinical practice. \n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a diverse clientele. \n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is highly desirable: \n \n Family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care. \n Substance misuse counseling. \n Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and associated technologies. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We are proud to offer a competitive salary between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year based on experience and caseload.
