Business Development Manager

GCB Industries is a national leader in boiler technology and solutions, operating across Houston, Central Texas, and the Dallas–Fort Worth region. We specialize in mechanical and fired‑equipment services for boiler plants, combustion systems, and thermal process equipment. Position Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role offers significant career advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Prospect for potential new clients and generate new business opportunities. Cold‑call and meet potential clients within assigned geographic area to build a robust pipeline. Identify decision makers within client organizations and research account information. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Set up meetings with client decision makers and present tailored proposals. Collaborate with the team to develop proposals that align with client needs and objectives. Participate in pricing solutions and services. Handle objections, clarify agreements, and work through differences to close deals. Submit progress reports and ensure data accuracy. Enter and manage data within the company’s CRM system. Forecast sales targets and track activity to meet or exceed these targets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business (preferred). 3‑5 years of sales experience in a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
