Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive and culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to gather information about patients' backgrounds, experiences, and treatment goals. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate to each patient's unique circumstances. Facilitate various therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapy, providing support and guidance to foster resilience and mental well-being. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide timely crisis intervention services when clients face mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and support. Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and external resources available to assist in their recovery journey. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal requirements, using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Engage in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery and teamwork. Stay updated on emerging research and best practice methodologies surrounding mental health and cultural considerations. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois. Experience in delivering individual and group therapy that prioritizes culturally responsive and inclusive approaches. A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
