Sr. Manager, Operations

Job Summary Manages large‑scale operational departments and all activities related to processing customer orders and developing company processes, leading both personally and via subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities include: Plan, schedule, and manage daily work activities to meet or exceed established KPIs. Oversee shipping/receiving, picking/packing, inventory, and VAS activities. Execute rapid carton throughput via import deconsolidation and domestic consolidation. Handle store delivery focus: unloading, sorting, segregating, palletizing, and load out. Leverage continuous improvement methods to enhance labor productivity and process accuracy while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform managerial functions: mentor, coach, administer performance reviews, conduct disciplinary actions, and interview candidates. Train and ensure associates comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Implement, improve, and maintain operational functions to achieve quality, productivity, safety, and loss prevention. Establish productivity and quality control standards, develop budgets and cost controls, and ensure adherence through follow‑up and due diligence. Manage operating budgets to meet the planned volume, including cost analysis, P&L accountability, and labor productivity. Work directly with all levels of associates to ensure consistent procedure adherence and best practices. Supervise up to 10 direct employees and 150+ indirect reports across picking, put‑away, shipping, and inventory control; provide manpower planning, work assignment, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and complaint resolution.
