Junior Staff Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Vernon, CA Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

Pay: $25-$30/hour

We are partnering with a well-established company in the waste management and recycling industry that is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor payments
• Perform account reconciliations and general ledger support
• Support month-end close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with various accounting and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of general accounting experience
• Strong accounts payable experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
