Job Details: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a solid foundation in accounting, looking to further their career by gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, as well as performing general bookkeeping and assisting with various accounting duties. This role requires a self-starter who is capable of meeting deadlines and working with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

• Preparation and posting of daily journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Participating in the month-end closing process, including account reconciliations and analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
• Assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and processes.
• Working closely with other team members to assist with general accounting duties and projects.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
• Providing support to senior staff in the preparation of financial data analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Experience with journal entries is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and procedures.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
