Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling while supporting our school-based clientele. Your work will mainly involve virtual therapy sessions, providing an opportunity to create an inclusive environment for students from various backgrounds. Flexible scheduling is a part of this role, allowing for some evening and weekend hours to accommodate the needs of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify students' mental health concerns alongside their strengths and resources.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of students, including specific therapeutic goals and interventions.
\n
• Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, as well as other professionals in the treatment team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that aim to empower students with coping strategies and emotional intelligence.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and essential safety planning when necessary to ensure the well-being of students.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring clarity and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patients served in this role will be students ranging from elementary through high school, along with their families. You will work with individuals facing a combination of psychological stressors, academic pressures, and personal challenges. Your interventions will not only support their mental health needs but also enhance their academic performance and social interactions, promoting long-term success in their educational journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably within a school context.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and best practice treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with an ability to connect with diverse clients and stakeholders.

• Experience working in school environments or with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
