Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 24 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program and no current placement allowed at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location; and 2 years working as a Traveler.

Required Credentials: Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted. MGB Medication Exam required; 80% passing within 365 days. MGB Dysrhythmia Exam required; 80% passing.

Unit Details: Cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, tele strip interpretation, TR Bands, and Hi-Flow Oxygen. Patient population: Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, GI. Clinician to patient ratio: Days: 1 to 4/5. Eves & Nights: 1 to 5/6.

Shift & Scheduling: Straight nights. Every other weekend.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
