Administrative Assistant
Crossville, TN

Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:00pm
Pay: $15.00-$16.00/hour depending on experience

A community-focused organization is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant  to support daily office operations, volunteers, community programs, and organizational initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, communicating with people, managing records, and wearing a few different hats in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
-Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other department leaders
-Maintain organizational records, files, reports, correspondence, and compliance documentation
-Assist with workers' compensation records, annual audits, subcontractor compliance, and required documentation
-Coordinate volunteer onboarding, orientation, paperwork, scheduling, and volunteer records
-Maintain accurate volunteer and donor information in organizational databases
-Respond to volunteer inquiries and communicate volunteer opportunities, schedules, events, and announcements
-Assist with newsletters, email campaigns, flyers, social media, and other marketing materials
-Support fundraising, community outreach, and organizational events
-Assist with event registration, logistics, vendor communication, and volunteer coordination
-Assist with administrative filing, scheduling, and document management
-Support purchasing, inventory, special projects, and other administrative needs

Requirements:
-Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Familiarity with Canva
-Experience with databases, CRM systems, or social media is preferred
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
-Comfortable working with volunteers, donors, staff, families, and community partners
-Professional, positive, and dependable approach
-Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
-Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed for events

-Must be able to pass drug testing and background check
