Associate, Accounts Payable

Adams Street is seeking an Associate to join the Finance team. This individual will have various responsibilities in supporting the accounting and finance activities for the Firm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the Firm's accounts payable function, including processing, reconciling, monitoring, and reviewing accounts payable,
• Review and process expense reimbursements within firm policy,
• Participate in daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities for Adams Street,
• Process cash transactions and reconciliations.

Candidate Requirements:

We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics

• College graduate, ideally with a degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant accounting experience working in accounts payable
• Prior experience with Concur and its products required
• Prior experience with cash reconciliations
• Command of Microsoft applications with advanced level in Excel
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting packages, preferably Intacct
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision within a team environment
• Strong organization and communication skills
• High degree of professionalism by exercising discretion, judgement and honoring confidentiality
