Corporate Counsel

Position: Corporate Counsel Overview: Our client is an very well-respected and established international insurance carrier looking to hire a dynamic attorney to their team in Philadelphia, PA. As Corporate Counsel, you will work across multiple legal disciplines- from insurance regulatory compliance and transactional work to privacy, cybersecurity, and corporate governance. This role is a prime opportunity for a rising attorney who is currently siloed to just one legal discipline within their current organization, but is eager to gain broad exposure to all legal procedures of an international insurance carrier. What You'll Do: Collaborate Broadly: Forge strong relationships with business units and senior management, offering proactive legal guidance across corporate transactions and compliance matters. Lead Diverse Projects: Negotiate and draft transactional documents, manage external counsel, and oversee issues spanning privacy, cybersecurity, records management, and AI. Drive Regulatory Insight: Monitor industry trends and regulatory shifts, translating complex legal challenges into strategic business advice. Enhance Compliance: Develop and manage compliance training and act as the liaison between business units, internal audit, and compliance teams. What We're Looking For: Credentials: JD degree with admission in PA or NY. Experience: 3-5 years in a law firm or in-house legal department-experience in insurance regulation is a plus. Skills: Superior communication, project management, and relationship-building abilities with a passion for excellent customer service.
