Job Description Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance): responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. Drives sales, builds and retains book of business within market/retail location, attracts and generates new customers and cross‑sell existing customers for Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance products. Sells to walk‑in customers, markets products via calls and in‑person visits, creates community relationships and assists customers in office. Responsibilities Drive new business sales and attain business goals. Build and retain book of business within the market/retail location. Attract and generate new customers and cross‑sell existing customers. Sell to walk‑in customers and market products outside the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits. Create community relationships to promote continued growth and assist customers in the office. Qualifications 0–2 years of experience. Preferred: P&C licensing; required to attain licensure within 90 days of joining. Preferred Skills & Competencies Successfully close sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meet and exceed sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention. Leverage community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence. Initiate outbound calling to established target customer base. Monitor key competitors and suggest initiatives to improve market position. Plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes with leadership. Deliver optimal results within metrics: quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and compliance. Understand and remain current on company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
