Senior Account Executive, Southeast - Pharmacy

Lockton is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Pharmacy practice managing mid‑market and national accounts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, possess the ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the servicing of a designated book of business. Manage day‑to‑day issues related to clients’ pharmacy plans and assist team members in closing out open items. Develop and distribute RFPs – market and spread results; coordinate vendor responses, analyze and compare RFP responses, and prepare client reports with recommendations. Work collaboratively with PBMs to collect pharmacy data, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, and of high quality. Develop financial models and reports for clients and senior staff, provide interpretation and implications of analysis, and recommend actions. Provide assistance in strategic planning and consulting advice to internal and external clients. Ensure client projects are completed on time. Interpret clients’ current pharmacy programs and identify and recommend gaps, alternatives, and additional plan design changes. Manage the review and accuracy of all vendor agreements and related documents to ensure best‑in‑class terms. Develop an implementation or project plan with clients and serve as the primary lead on PBM implementation calls and meetings. Attend evening and lunch events with clients to build and strengthen ongoing relationships. Attend internal meetings and educational programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the industry, specifically in PBMs or related fields. Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships. Firm working knowledge of welfare benefits across multiple product lines (medical, dental, life, AD&D, disability) and a basic understanding of risk and insurance. Excellent computer skills; ability to manipulate large spreadsheets and data sets. Mathematical/technical expertise in managing and reporting monthly claim tracking results. Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to collaborate with consultants to review action items, address vendor issues, interpret root cause analyses, and articulate next‑step solutions. Knowledge of differing financial arrangements and products available to clients, including self‑funded options. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proven critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Availability for travel. Legal right to work in the United States.
