Managing office operations for the Center for Orientation, Retention, and Exploration, the full-time Office Manager will ensure efficient departmental functioning, oversee budget reconciliation, and provide administrative support to the director while potentially working remotely during university closings. Key responsibilities Manage office operations, including student appointment screenings and retention initiatives Monitor and reconcile the departmental budget while ensuring accurate reporting of caseloads and student records Train and evaluate student and hourly support staff, providing necessary administrative support to the director Required qualifications Considerable knowledge of customer service and problem resolution techniques Working knowledge of budgeting principles and computer software, including Microsoft Office and Banner Effective organizational and time management skills for handling multiple clerical activities Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Ability to lead and direct the work of others while maintaining effective interpersonal skills
