Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to an engaging opportunity supporting elementary students on a full-time contract basis. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, delivering essential services that help students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. The role is contract-based, with a 40 hour per week schedule, working closely with children in an elementary school setting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active and current OT license
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric environment
• Familiarity with assessments, IEP processes, and documentation in an educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to adapt activities to individual needs and learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and IEP goals
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation of services, progress, and communication with stakeholders
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to provide strategies and adaptations that support participation in school activities
• Deliver both one-on-one and group interventions, focusing on maximizing independence and participation in the school community
• Participate in meetings and conferences as required to advocate for students’ needs
