An NVR Title Examiner is responsible for the completion of title abstract orders and requests, as well as the reporting functions related to our title work flow and settlement processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review title insurance commitments and policies to ensure quality standards

• Identify trends to support training and maintain production standards

• Compare preliminary and final title reports; report discrepancies

• Maintain a current list of of local developers, builders, and related entities

• Update database files for each NVR subdivision plan

• Ensure timely recordings of legal documents and track their return to appropriate parties

• Preform basic underwriting for individual transactions as needd

Qualifications

• Title Insurance License preferred

• Working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance, and procedures

• Proficient with Microsoft suite, especially Excel program.

• Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills

• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
