Job Opening: Intake Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: Lawrence, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (must be available to take calls outside regular hours)
Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Intake Coordinator to manage patient referrals from start to finish. In this vital role, you'll ensure patients are fully supported by coordinating between internal staff and external referral sources. Your attention to detail and communication skills will ensure that each referral is tracked, documented, and completed efficiently and with care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and track incoming referrals from initial contact through completion
• Communicate proactively with referral sources, patients, and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Provide support with prior authorizations , data entry , and billing as needed
• Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
• Remain available for patient or referral communication outside of standard business hours when needed

Qualifications:
• LPN or Social Worker (strongly preferred)
• Experience in intake coordination, case management, or a similar healthcare role
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, prior authorizations, and insurance verification
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using EMR and data entry systems
