HR Analytics: Senior Analyst

Role Description

IDC is seeking a highly analytical Senior HR Analytics Analyst to join the Office of the CFO, supporting the expansion of Corporate Data & Reporting into People and Talent analytics. This is a newly created individual contributor role focused on building how we measure and manage workforce performance across the enterprise. You will partner across HR, Finance, and business leadership to define KPIs, integrate data across systems, and deliver insights that inform strategic decision-making.

• Develop and scale People Analytics reporting and dashboards, aligned to enterprise KPI standards
• Partner with HR and business leaders to define and track key talent metrics (e.g., attrition, engagement, hiring, workforce trends)
• Integrate data across HR systems, financial systems, and other platforms to create a single, reliable view of workforce data
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready materials
• Support the establishment of data governance, definitions, and data quality standards for HR metrics
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance analysis, insight generation, and efficiency
• Align People metrics with broader enterprise reporting and performance frameworks

Qualifications

• Strong experience working across multiple data sources and systems, including HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel; SQL or similar querying experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation tools) to improve productivity and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience building or scaling reporting, dashboards, or analytics frameworks
