Benefits Manager

Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking to hire a Benefits Manager. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm. Hybrid Work Schedule We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead the administration and strategy of our employee benefits and leave management programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise in benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and employee leave programs. The Benefits Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities: Manage the administration of all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness offerings. Oversee leave management programs, including FMLA, ADA state levels, and company leave policies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and leave administration. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and leave- related inquiries. Partners with vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to evaluate and enhance benefit offerings. Manage annual open enrollment processes and employee communications. Analyze benefits utilization, trends, and costs; provide recommendations for program improvements. Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed. Develop and deliver employee data within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed. Develop and deliver employee education and communication materials related to benefits programs. Collaborate with HR leadership on benefits strategy, policy development, and process optimization. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration and leave management. Law firm experience is strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of employee benefits programs, leave administration, and related employment laws. Experience working with HRIS platforms and HR technology Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and employee relation abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
