Quick Facts Location: 50 Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48342 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: Ongoing until coverage complete Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Hours/week: 22.5 hours/week Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certifications: MI Medical License, Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years outpatient hematology and oncology experience Pay & Benefits Pay: Competitive hourly rate (details discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable Robust referral bonus program and dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to adult patients Manage a panel of approximately 15-20 patients per day Participate in tumor board discussions and multidisciplinary case reviews Conduct outpatient procedures as required Use Cerner EMR to document patient encounters Collaborate with oncology RNs, medical assistants, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators Support infusion services and onsite lab testing Cover clinic call as needed during scheduled days Assist in ongoing recruitment efforts for full-time physicians What You Need Active Medical License in Michigan Minimum 2 years experience in outpatient hematology and oncology Ability to perform hematology/oncology outpatient procedures Strong communication and team collaboration skills Participation in tumor boards a plus About the Assignment A leading facility in Pontiac, MI, is seeking a Hematology and Oncology physician to provide outpatient coverage.
