Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activities and assist visitors, patients, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site policies.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
