As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behaviour to designated contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
