Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic techniques appropriate for each client's circumstances.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions to reach clients unable to attend in-person due to geographical or physical limitations, ensuring consistent access to care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Clients will come from diverse backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their personal experiences through individualized care tailored to their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid mental health license from the state of New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
