Social Media & Content Manager

Job Summary:The Social Media and Content Manager will assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns through utilization of various digital and social media platforms. The role will ensure consistent, relevant social media efforts coordinated with the overall business development and marketing strategies.Core DutiesManages the development and delivery of content to all organizational websitesSelection and creation of content to be published on websites representing XPELEnsuring content supports the organization’s marketing or public relations strategies and presents a consistent message.Measure and report performance, use analytics to determine future and content strategyOwn the development and maintenance of a content calendar, for daily operational use and forecasting/planning social media needsSupport other marketing, branding and promotional activities as necessary to support XPEL’s sales and marketing objectivesPotential travel to events to capture content for social platformsMonitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media for national and international market presenceStrategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all the company’s products and servicesMeasure the impact of social media on the overall marketing and communication campaign effortsResponsible for all QA associated with the release of new online content.Basic QualificationsBS/BA in Marketing, communications, or equivalent experience4+ years of broad social media and marketing experienceExperience managing the entire social media platform for growth-oriented CompanyAdvanced knowledge Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media platformsAbove average experience and knowledge of content management platforms, social media integrations and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other word processing softwareStrong written & verbal communication skills (Must also need to be comfortable on camera during social media live stream)Ability to work well with others both in person and across other offices through remote communicationsExcellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with geographically dispersed leaders and teamsStrong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detailAbility to travel ~10% of the timeXPEL is an equal opportunity employer.
