SAP ABAP Developer

SAP ABAP ConsultantSeeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.Scope of WorkRequired consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:Minimum of 10 years’ experience in programming SAP ABAP/4 (FI/CA, FI, MD, SD, GL modules) with SAP ECC 6.0 or higherPreferred Experience:10 years of SAP ABAP work experience in design, implementation, upgrades and maintenanceExperience working with the SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial (FI) and General Ledger (GL) modules and other ECC technical environmentsExperience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP objects and other modern SAP technologiesExperience with REST Web ServicesExperience in SAP Portal development and Portal upgradesExperience leading IT projectsExperience facilitating meetings and follow-up activitiesExperience with ABAP Object-Oriented ProgrammingExperience with Adobe Forms, Smartforms, Print Workbench, and/or SAP ScriptExperience with Web Dynpro ABAP/JavaExperience with cloud developmentExperience with custom user exits, complex report programming, batch jobs, BADIs, implicit and explicit enhancementsExperience scheduling/maintaining batch jobs and analyzing performanceExperience developing custom applications using module pool programming flow logic and screen painterExperience writing performance effective interface and conversion programs handling high data volumesExcellent ABAP SQL skills including complex joinsExperience coordinating customer requirements and gathering requirementsExperience writing technical specifications and design flowsExperience analyzing and researching SAP KBAs to find software solutionsExperience in ABAP debugging, performance analysis using Trace tools, Runtime analysis, Code Inspector and other toolsGood understanding of SAP ECC functional configurationPreferred experience with upgrading SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP HANA or S/4 HANAPreferred experience in the Business Rules Framework (BRF) and BRF PlusAbility to plan, organize, document and coordinate work assignmentsRequired Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:ABAP programmingProvide analysis and systems supportConduct reviews of functional specificationsDevelop/ implement technical specifications, design diagrams, landscape blueprintsParticipate in ABAP code reviewsDevelop and maintain SAP modules FI/CA, SD, BWMeet with Functional Staff to explain program functionalityMentor less experienced Career Service ABAP programmersGenerate OSS notes requesting assistance from SAP headquartersResearch SAP documentation for solutions to reported problemsDesign, code, unit test, debug and implement SAP ABAP applications while working closely with business analystsWork with business analysts to review functional specifications and create technical design specifications. Provide technical development effort estimates based on functional specifications/business requirements.Follow all Department, ISP, and team defined standards and proceduresPerforms other related duties, as requiredEducation/Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or other related field.
