Human Resources Director

Director of Human Resources (Manufacturing) Onsite Role Columbia SC, (Some relocation assistance available) Experience 5+ years of recent manufacturing HR in a senior level role - a must Key Responsibility Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals and organizational growth Lead workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives to support operational needs Design and manage total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition offerings Oversee recruiting strategies and processes to attract and retain high-quality talent Build relationships with local schools and workforce pipelines to strengthen talent acquisition efforts Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and engagement initiatives Drive communication strategies to ensure alignment and transparency across the workforce Implement and oversee performance management systems and continuous feedback processes Identify skill gaps and lead training, development, and leadership programs across the organization Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Establish and refine HR policies, processes, and procedures to support operational excellence Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, with the opportunity to restructure and optimize the function Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment 5+ years of leadership experience managing HR teams HR certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) strongly preferred; CCP or CBP a plus Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in a dynamic environment Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and 401(k) administration Demonstrated experience in employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning Ability to influence and challenge senior leadership, including experience operating at the executive level Strong business acumen, with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and HR metrics Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Find Great People | FGP
