CNC Machinist - 1st shift position, 4 days a week. You will operate, set up, and program CNC machines to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Program CNC machines to produce complex parts with precision.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements.
• Perform machine calibration, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality output.
• Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming errors, or machine malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed documentation of setups, inspections, and production logs in compliance with quality standards.

Skills:

· Proven experience as a Machinist with knowledge of CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes.

· Knowledge of CNC machine setup procedures including fixture installation and tooling alignment.

· Skilled in blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation to ensure accurate

manufacturing processes.

· Familiarity with machining tools such as grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling setups.

· Mechanical knowledge related to metal machining processes like milling, turning on CNC lathes, grinding, and electrical discharge machining (EDM).

· Ability to perform precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators

· Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances; experience with

measurement instruments is essential.
