Position Overview Were seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Websites with deep expertise in web development and team leadership to oversee and grow our websites department. This role will own the vision, execution, and delivery of all company and client websites. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and grow a team of web developers and technical specialists. Build and refine scalable processes for intake, project management, QA, and delivery. Oversee architecture, frameworks, and coding standards across the team. Ensure all websites meet high standards of performance, security, SEO, and accessibility. Collaborate with the Customer Experience team and developers to bring web projects to life. Implement ongoing monitoring, analytics, and optimization for all websites. Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to coach, mentor, and build career paths. Remove internal bottlenecks and improve efficiency for web-related deliverables. Translate technical web concepts into clear, accessible language for clients and non-technical team members. Lead ongoing training sessions for account management and development teams. Qualifications Proven experience as a web development leader (5+ years in management roles). Strong technical expertise in modern web stacks (front-end, back-end, CMS, hosting). Experience managing website operations for a digital marketing agency preferred. Familiarity with SEO, site speed, UX, and accessibility best practices. Leadership ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing teams. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
