We are currently seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our talented team and support our Executive Chef in crafting outstanding dishes that showcase both our creativity and our commitment to quality. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on special event menu development, focusing on seasonal ingredients and wine pairings
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and timeliness of dishes
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment that emphasizes collaboration and growth
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen
- Assist in the management of inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and utilization of ingredients
- Uphold and reinforce all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines according to local and state regulations
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a high-quality, chef-driven restaurant setting
- Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and seasonal ingredient usage
- Passion for wine and food pairings, with a willingness to continuously learn and develop expertise
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and inspire kitchen staff
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
