About the Position

Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across multiple units including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma
• Operate and manage ventilators and high-flow respiratory equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport vents, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas draws and processing
• Deliver care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment including a Level 2 Trauma Center and busy Emergency Department
• Float to various units as required by facility staffing needs
• Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Missouri Board for Respiratory Care licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with Trauma experience
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required (November 1 – April 1)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with arterial blood gas draws, processing on GEM analyzers, and blood gas interpretation
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
