Supply Chain Coordinator Preoperative Services FT The Supply Chain Coordinator works collaboratively with Materials Management, Perioperative Management, Clinical and Medical staff, Revenue Cycle, and Education to assure the smooth flowing of fiscally responsible operations of the Perioperative Services department. This includes reviewing charges, ordering supplies, budget management, and education on new products. The Coordinator works closely with the medical staff to assure preference cards and equipment are accurate to promote efficiency in patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage Cerner SurgiNet Electronic System for Perioperative Services related to scheduling, charge capture/reconciliation and preference card management
2. Manage process and support for Centralized Surgery Scheduling and supported customers in the Physician offices.
3. Collaboratively manage with OR and SPD Manager needs of the Perioperative Services Materials Management.
4. Facilitate all charge processes streamlining CDM, aimed at improving charge capture.
5. Develop standardization for preference cards and created a process to track updated cards.
6. Collaboratively work with Periop teams to Plan/Oversee procurement and installation for capital equipment for Perioperative Services.
7. Collaboratively work with Periop Manager to Plan / Oversees the Contract process for Perioperative Services.
8. Collaboratively work to help Develop / Implement Annual Skills for all Departments within the Perioperative Arena.

Contact new physicians to determine procedure needs. 9. Collaboratively help to stay within Financial Budgets making recommendations for improvement. 10. Assist in Implement new projects for the Perioperative Arena. 11. Assist with Surgeon ensuring successful transition. 12. Assist with orienting new staff and surgeons/procedurists to Perioperative Arena. 13. Oversee OR supply chain and billing. 15. Work with Manager on Performance Improvement Teams. 16. Respond to critical issues relating to the delivery of services and preparation and evaluation of outcomes. 17. Monitor the use and cost of implants and materials. 18. Participate on the Operating Room Committee. 19. Communicate effectively with all members of the Periop team and ancillary departments. 20. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Education A Bachelors in Business Administration or related field. A combination of education and experience in a relevant role will be considered in lieu of a degree. Qualifications/Experience Minimum of five (5) years of working in surgical services and perioperative department required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A solid understanding of human anatomy, basic medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles is desired. Special Skills/Knowledge Analytical, creative problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Competent with electronic business applications. Self‑starter, tolerant of tight timelines, time pressures, and ambiguity. Positive, high‑energy, enthusiastic team player. Ability to educate and mentor perioperative teams on new procedures and products. Experienced in budget development and management. Experienced in revenue cycle and charge reconciliation in perioperative services.
