Bilingual Spanish Medical Supply Customer Service Representative

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM .

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping patients, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced medical supply and equipment office environment. The position is similar to pharmacy technician data entry, but with more variety and direct patient support. Pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing medical supply new orders and resupply
  • Requesting authorizations from multiple insurance plans
  • Familiarity with government payer rules and guidelines
  • Checking patient and understanding patient eligibility
  • Communicating with patients, referral sources, and insurance providers
  • Following up on orders and ensure accurate and complete documentation
  • Supporting patients as a helpful and professional advocate

Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate working in EMR, Payor Portals, and Office365
  • Comfortable with data entry and order processing
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Medical office, pharmacy tech, insurance, or DME experience is helpful
