Job Duties Peer Support Specialists are people in a peer‑designated role providing direct services with a personal experience of recovery from mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions. They receive specialized training and supervision to guide and support others who are experiencing similar issues toward increased wellness. An individual in this role has made a personal commitment to their own recovery, has maintained that recovery over time, has completed the 80‑hour Peer Support Learning training (or equivalent) to work in mutuality with others, and is willing to share their recovery journey in an inspirational way. Schedule Full‑Time: AM (Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Personal lived experience with mental health or substance use disorder. Completion of 80‑hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent training within 90 days of hire, or within 2 years of hire. Current techniques of behavioral intervention training within six (6) months of hire.
