Scientist II, Biopharmaceuticals (GMP)

Scientist II supporting biopharmaceutical drug development in a GMP laboratory environment. The role involves performing analytical testing, sample preparation, and documentation while collaborating across functional teams and independently managing quality control responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex sample preparation and analytical procedures for pharmaceutical compounds
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation independently
• Complete laboratory documentation and quality records in compliance with SOPs and GLPs
• Manage QC responsibilities and communicate project status to leadership
• Participate in OOS/OOT investigations and quality assurance tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related laboratory science
• 2+ years of related laboratory or analytical experience
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation, maintenance, and regulatory guidelines
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with manual dexterity
