Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining an emphasis on connectedness through regular virtual team meetings, supervision, and professional development sessions. You will work within an advanced telehealth framework that includes a user-friendly electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management. The outpatient nature of our practice requires that you be adaptable to various therapeutic environments and be prepared for a dynamic workday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand the mental health needs of clients.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances and goals of each client.

• Maintain regular sessions with clients, employing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate progress.

• Provide crisis intervention services and employ de-escalation techniques as necessary, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately within our EHR system in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health disorders including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring cultural sensitivity and an appreciation for the unique experiences that shape their mental health journeys. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing a breadth of knowledge in various therapeutic modalities.

• A solid grasp of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment techniques, and the principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Proficiency in handling individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive tactics.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from various backgrounds.

• Experience with EHR systems and standard computer applications is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
