RN Charge Nurse Leader

Location: El Paso, Texas, United States

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse Leader to join our team at Avir at Lomaland. As a leader on our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing unit. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team

• Monitor and report on patient outcomes and recommend improvements to patient care practices

• Collaborate with other departments, including medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient care

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and professional development

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication administration records .

Requirements:

• Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas

• Current CPR certification and BLS certification

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
