A healthcare services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Internal Medicine & HIV Specialist to join their team as a Medical Director, playing a critical role in providing integrated care to under-served populations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
\nAbout the Opportunity:
\n- \n
- Shift: Day \n
- Schedule: Monday to Friday \n
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week \n
- Setting: FQHC \n
Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Providing medical care to adults and HIV patients \n
- Performing clinical tasks and procedures \n
- Handling administrative responsibilities two days a week \n
- Supervising other healthcare providers \n
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team \n
- Performing other duties, as needed \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York \n
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine \n
- Comply with American Academy of HIV Medicine certification requirements \n
- Strong knowledge of HIV care \n
- Experience in a Community Health setting \n
- Excellent communication skills \n
- Detail-oriented \n
- Compassionate and patient-focused \n
Desired Qualifications:
\n- \n
- 2+ years of relevant experience \n
- Master's degree in a related field \n
- Certification in HIV care \n
- Proficient in EMR systems \n
