Looking for strong experience in Facets, claims

Location: Can be 100% remote, onshore, and open to different time zones but they will be starting at 8am EST everyday.

Duration: Straight contract and set up for around 11 months or so

Team: Under the project shared services (Testing and claims benefits) and operations

Description:

Not your traditional BA and more of a testing BA who will be focusing on acquiring support for facets in day-to-day services and testing

Mostly day to day testing

Help support requirements and validation, test strategy, planning, execution

Seasoned team

They are backfills and will be supporting day to day facets work and claims testing

Primarily testing, analysis

Some gathering requirements

Less complex projects

Must haves:

Working on Facets (The biggest thing they want) 1yr+ (Facets) Has to be current (within last 6 months)

Knowledge but experience in claims processing, benefits config

Testing

Analytic skills

Great comm. Skills

Nice to have:

Have some exposure to Jira but not a requirement (Must be a fast learner)

Dental would be nice but not a requirement

NASCO would be Plus

SQL Skills, MS Excel, Reporting

Years Experience:

2-3 years with facets, processing, claims, and testing

Purpose:

The Business Analyst will have the responsibility to ensure that the business's need for changes to processes, policies and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented and acted upon by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying and verifying the needs of business or user. The incumbent assists in the gathering and synthesizing of business requirements for low complexity software, systems, processes and/or services and translates them into testing specifications ensuring the business objectives are met. As the functional expert, the incumbent serves as the conduit between the business area and the technical or software development team through which requirements flow.

Responsibilities:

Serves as a liaison between the internal business community and the IT organization in order to provide quality solutions to meet user needs.

Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the Business areas user and technical (functional/non-functional) requirements

Translates business requirements into testing specifications, manages changes to such specifications.

Supports several simple to moderately complex testing requirements.

Responsible for executing Facets processing application test plans, test scenarios, defines and solves for test data needs for testing in order to ensure the outgoing Facets products meet and exceed quality standards.

Develop and execute Facets tests to identify Facets problems and their root causes.

Test Facets system modifications to prepare for implementation.

Document Facets and application defects using JIRA and report defects to Facets developers and product owners.

Participates in the review of Facets design and leads the team in supporting the overall quality of various Facets systems and applications.

Develops an understanding of the business processes being tested.

Requirements:

Education

This position requires a bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis and/or testing and 1-3 years of related work experience in business analysis, systems analysis or testing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Has demonstrated experience in Facets claims processing/testing functions.

Has demonstrated experience in JIRA testing, defect management tool.

Has basic understanding of AGILE methodologies.

Proficient Knowledge of test requirements and protocols.

Proficient Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Proficient Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems; attention to detail.

Proficient Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products, specifically EXCEL.

Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.

Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple competing demands within set expectations for service excellence.

The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs.

Additional Skills: Facets Claims UAT, Manual Testing and JIRA testing management tool experience.
