Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients through empathy, respect, and professionalism.

• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, implementing psychotherapy, counseling, and other therapeutic techniques.

• Create and customize individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs and life circumstances.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as required to adapt to patient progress or changing situations.

• Engage in ongoing assessment of patient progress, utilizing standardized metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group sessions, providing a safe space for discussion and healing.

• In collaboration with medical and specialized professionals, refer clients to additional supportive services as determined necessary.

The LMFT will primarily work with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families, addressing various mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and more. Qualifications\n

• Valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or demonstrated experience in addiction counseling is highly preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based practices, particularly in managing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients through their recovery journeys.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, with a collaborative teamwork approach essential for referral networks.

Compensation and Benefits\n
