Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description:
PrideStaff Financial is working with a local business who is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will complete a high volume of Accounts Payable which include organizing, posting, completing vendor and account audits, and checks. The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist has solid knowledge of Accounts Payable, has Build Pro and Sage experience along with excellent communication and time management skills. The Accounts Payable Specialist position is a full time, direct hire position in Roseville, CA.
Accounts Payable Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive & Distribute Mail & E-Mails to The Appropriate Departments Including Billing, Invoice Posting & Payments
- Research & Solve Discrepancies Using Accounting Software Such as Sage & Build Pro
- Ensure Monthly Billing is Complete For Close of Escrow For Homeowners
- Work to Resolve Any Discrepancies With Vendors & Personnel
- Generate Checks For Payments Including Vendor Packages to be Signed & Mail Completed Checks
- Complete Aging Payable, Discounts, & Finance Charges & Manage 1099 Preparation Annually
- Keep a Clean & Organize Work Area
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3+ Years of Accounts Payable Experience Required
- Must be Comfortable Working High Volume of Accounts Payable
- Must Have Solid Experience With Sage, Build Pro & Excel Including 10 Key
- Must Have Solid Math Skills
- Demonstrates Excellent Communication & Time Management Skills
